Bio

I was born in East Liverpool, Ohio—a small town at the intersection of the Rust Belt and Northern Appalachia. I first started making art as a toddler with my Pepa, a retired steelworker, WWII Navy veteran, and hobbyist landscape painter. I continued to make art, obtaining my BFA in Studio Arts with a specialization in Drawing from Bowling Green State University in 2019. In 2023, I earned my MA in Museum and Exhibition Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago. I have lived, worked, and studied in New York, Chicago, and Wisconsin. Currently, I maintain a studio practice in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. When not in the studio, I work full-time as a curator of American art. My curatorial and art historical research praxis informs my personal, artistic work.
